Learning and education are important to us and you’ll often find us at Industry events but also in community initiatives.

A couple of years ago we were partnered with UTS for their OPTIK’s program. During the program, we set students a series of highly specialised engineering and information technology challenges that are representative of challenges we often encounter as a company, but more widely represent industry. Throughout their time in the OPTIK’s program, students automated the process of labelling blood sample tubes for use in pathology testing processes, developed a Pick to Light solution for an automated mobile robot and trained a cobot to deal cards for blackjack to demonstrate the variety of ways in robotics can interact with people.

We partner with universities, educational institutions, and industry to develop advanced manufacturing courses and training programs

We’ve partnered with a number of academic bodies including UTS, WSU and Deakin University to develop learning materials, internship opportunities and training programs for students and industry.

At UTS as part of the OPTIK consultancy program, we developed a series of highly specialised engineering and information technology challenges including automating the process of labelling blood sample tubes for use in pathology testing processes;

developing a Pick to Light solution for an AMR; and training a cobot to deal cards for blackjack to demonstrate the variety of ways robotics can interact with humans.

Beyond our collaboration with UTS, we partner with industry leaders like BHP and Chep to create tailored courses and training programs. These initiatives are designed to equip and upskill Australia’s workforce, driving their success through the digital transformation shaping modern manufacturing.
