Conveyors & material handling

Fixed automation systems for controlled movement of products along production lines, integrating with robotic pick-and-place or packaging processes.

Fast-paced handling and packaging

Automation of high-speed drug packaging and assembly, ensuring precision, compliance and throughput in pharmaceutical production.

Automated Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)

For flexible, on-demand transport of raw materials, finished products and packaging components across pharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics facilities.

Equipped with the expertise and technology to develop tailored solutions, we have worked with leading pharmaceutical manufacturers to address complex industry challenges.

Enterix: automated dosing kit

Enterix engaged Applied Robotics to automate the dosing process for their high-volume bowel cancer testing kits, which are distributed across Australia and internationally. When test kits are returned from GPs and laboratories, they must be dosed with reactive solutions that mix with the biological sample to produce an indicative result.

With fast turnaround times critical for patients and large processing volumes, Enterix required a highly efficient and precise automation solution. We developed a monolithic frame system, integrating a six-axis industrial robot with a custom gripper capable of handling up to five sample test kits at a time. The system was designed to house and integrate Enterix’s proprietary dosing equipment, ensuring seamless operation within their existing sample testing workflow.
