Our skilled team will work closely with you to design systems that optimise efficiency, accuracy and throughput across your entire assembly and packaging life cycle.
These systems will streamline production, reduce manual intervention and enhance product quality.
We design systems that feed, separate, orient and singulate components from bulk supply — ensuring a continuous, correctly presented flow of parts for high-speed automated assembly. To achieve this, we apply the most effective technologies for the task — from vibratory systems and vision-guided methods to multi-lane conveyors, pneumatic diverters and vision-guided robots.
We excel in precise pick and place solutions, accurately orienting and positioning components for seamless assembly. Each part is placed precisely where it needs to be in the assembly process, every time.
Our solutions incorporate a variety of fastening techniques tailored to your product requirements, including efficient snap fits, automated screw fastening and robust clinch pressing — each selected to optimise cycle time, durability and ease of product assembly.
Beyond core assembly, we design and integrate downstream processes such as erecting finished goods cartons, automated carton sealing and efficient palletising — ensuring a fully streamlined, end-to-end assembly line.
Macnaught’s is a leading Australian fluid equipment manufacturer, and we collaborated with them to develop a semi-autonomous hose reel assembly solution. Combining robotic precision with human flexibility — and working within tight budget constraints — we reimagined their assembly process and identified cost-saving design tweaks. We designed a collaborative cell where one robot handles high-precision fastening and packaging, while human operators manage flexible components — boosting quality and doubling output.
Working with Legrand to maintain their local manufacturing operations, we delivered a fully automated assembly solution for their high-volume light switch line. This solution replaced labour-intensive manual tasks with intelligent component handling and vision-guided robotics. Components are automatically sorted, oriented and assembled on a rotary table, enabling continuous, high-speed output and doubling throughput.
To design a practical solution, we require product samples (assembled and individual parts), final packaging, 3D CAD models (if available), existing workflow/process maps, site layout and videos of current processes, together with your target production rate.
