Research & Innovation Institutions

Expanding the limits of Automation, from partnerships on Vision Systems to Reconstructive Welding solutions

We’ve worked with CSIRO on a number of different projects including Australia’s first vision system for Buderim Ginger and complex reconstructive welding solutions for the waste industry. To learn more about our work with CSIRO and Buderim ginger, watch here.

Educational Bodies

We’ve worked with a number of educational bodies such as TAFE Queensland, UTS and UNSW across a range of different Applications.

Most recently, we deployed a fully autonomous Smart Factory at the TAFE Queensland Bundamba campus. We recognise how important it is to have fully informed and robust educational programs for students and worked alongside TAFE Queensland to develop learning and teaching for their associate degree. To learn more about our work there, check out our case study here.

Applied Robotics and UTS partnered together to design three micro-credentials and collaborated on an OPTIK’S program, providing students with challenging engineering projects, guided by our expert team. To learn more about the Micro-credentials and OPTIK’s program click here.

Where possible, Applied supports UNSW, UTS and TAF graduates to find industry positions either through internships or graduate placements.
